“As we face a once in a lifetime pandemic, the speed at which the COVID-19 has spread globally, requires the same agility in how we respond to it. Whether it be social distancing to ‘flatten the curve’, or staying up all night, to hack open data sets or re-package existing code, the crises is a rallying cry for all of us to pitch in. Public health has been an important part of my career from early medical school days and later, as a Public health Informatician at Columbia University. But more broadly, it has been one of the catalysts for both economic and quality of life improvements all over the world, for more than a century. We are immensely proud of all our hackers, designers, and tinkerers at TrialX, who have been working tirelessly over the last few days to hack this pandemic.”
