🚀 TrialX Success Stories, DPHARM 2026 and More in Patient Recruitment Management

As we head to Boston for DPHARM, one truth leads the way: clinical research must be both patient-centric and AI-empowered. At TrialX, we’re delivering on that vision by building a better way to manage clinical trials. Driven by our unified platform, our mission is to make trial management smarter and more efficient for everyone— streamlining complex recruitment workflows, expanding access for diverse participants, and supporting decentralized research on Earth and in space. Stop by Booth #535 next week to hear what we’ve been building alongside Pfizer and connect with our team! 🚀

🕵 What We’re Hearing From The Field

“Across my conversations with sponsors and sites, one thing is clear: patient recruitment doesn’t end when someone completes a pre-screener. That’s where an effective referral workflow becomes critical. TrialX connects the patient journey from trial discovery and pre-screening through referral and site follow-up—including the ability to route pre-screened referrals to a call center for additional qualification and support before they reach the site. This connected approach benefits every stakeholder, but especially sites. Better-qualified referrals mean spending less time following up with disengaged or ineligible candidates, while sponsors gain greater visibility into what happens after a patient expresses interest. To me, that’s what “end-to-end” should mean: a connected workflow that reduces site burden, improves the patient experience, and provides visibility from initial interest through enrollment. Looking forward to share more at DPharm.”

What’s New at TrialX! 🚀

❇️ SUCCESS STORIES

We are thrilled to announce that a top 10 global pharmaceutical company has chosen TrialX as its end-to-end patient recruitment and engagement platform. By unifying trial discovery, pre-screening, site referrals, sponsor workflows, and real-time analytics into a fully connected ecosystem, the objective is to streamline site operations and accelerate patient access to life-saving research across the entire clinical trial lifecycle.

Our enterprise recruitment platform helped a top-five pharmaceutical sponsor standardize recruitment processes and deploy enterprise-level analytics across its clinical portfolio. This provided clear cross-portfolio visibility, enabling the team to pinpoint operational inefficiencies at scale. After uncovering a critical drop-off between site referral and study enrollment, the sponsor implemented an enhanced prescreening process—significantly improving participant readiness and boosting overall enrollment rates.

We built a patient-centric global clinical trial website enabling potential participants to discover the sponsor’s recruiting studies across 18+ countries. Leveraging AI-powered tools and integrations, the platform translates and simplifies trial information into plain language and guides visitors to the next step toward trial participation through integrated prescreening and referral to study sites.

❇️ PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

CADASIL (Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy) is a rare genetic condition affecting small blood vessels in the brain, often leading to vascular cognitive impairment and dementia. We are proud to empower researchers at the University of Wisconsin with a custom mobile research app designed to capture critical insights into how CADASIL progresses, paving the way for better care and future interventions. Learn More.

At this year’s Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) conference, our team had an incredible time showcasing how our Space Health Platform powers TRISH HERMES and redefines care beyond Earth. From offline-capable workflows to AI agents guiding zero-gravity workouts, we demonstrated how our platform unifies wearable metrics, genomics, and clinical data to support autonomous crew health in extreme environments. Our Co-founder & CTO Chintan Patel, quotes “A major theme throughout the conference was the growing role of AI agents in supporting healthcare beyond low Earth orbit, particularly as missions become longer, more autonomous, and increasingly distant from Earth-based medical teams. These discussions reinforced the importance of building integrated platforms that combine clinical workflows, research protocols, sensor data, medical inventory management, offline capability, and intelligent decision support.” Learn More About TrialX Space Health Platform.

🎥 RECENT WEBINAR

Patients searching for clinical trials are often met with dense, technical language designed for scientific audiences, not for people trying to decide whether a study is right for them. If you’re part of a pharma, academic medical center, or patient advocacy organization looking to make trial information more accessible, we invite you to watch this webinar where we share how AI, guided by thoughtful prompt design, can turn technical listings into clear, patient-friendly summaries—without losing accuracy. You will also hear perspectives on using AI simplified listings from Krista Goedel of Sanofi.

📺 MEDIA & PRESS

Our Co-founder & CEO, Sharib Khan, was featured in Clinical Research News in the article “Space Health Research Could Rack Up Many Earthly Dividends.” The piece highlights how our space health research innovations – developed in collaboration with the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH), are enabling the collection of vital human health data from commercial spaceflights, with implications that extend beyond astronauts to advance clinical research on Earth. Read the full story.

🎓 SPOTLIGHT

UNSUNG BUT IMPACTFUL VOICES OF CLINICAL RESEARCH HEROES

Clinical research works best when patients have a real seat at the table. In our latest spotlight, we sit down with Ashley Berg, Associate Director of Science at Beyond Celiac, to explore her journey from clinical research to patient advocacy—and how her lived experience with celiac disease is helping shape more empathetic, patient-centered trials. 🔗 Read the interview.

RECENT CURETALKS

In this CureTalks session, world-renowned geneticist and cardiologist Dr. Kiran Musunuru and CEO of Global Genes, Charlene Son Rigby discuss how breakthroughs in gene editing are transforming care—from lowering cholesterol to developing personalized therapies for rare genetic disorders—and what this means for the future of precision medicine. Watch here.

🧬 FEATURED CLINICAL STUDIES

Powered by TrialX

Sickle Cell Disease Trial: Researchers are testing an investigational treatment for people ages 10–65 with sickle cell disease who experience recurring pain crises. Participants receive either the study drug or placebo to evaluate its safety and effectiveness in reducing vaso-occlusive crises.

Pneumococcal Vaccine Trial: Researchers are testing an investigational vaccine designed to protect against more strains of pneumococcal bacteria than current vaccines. Healthy adults ages 18–49 receive either the study vaccine or an approved vaccine to evaluate safety and immune protection.

DREAM IT: Indiana University researchers are testing a virtual cognitive behavioral therapy program to help teens with insomnia improve their sleep. Teens receive either therapist-led treatment or delayed app-based treatment, while parents and teens complete online surveys and track sleep.

Adult Virome Study: Penn Medicine researchers are studying the viruses naturally found in healthy people to better understand their role in human health. Participants provide samples from the nose, mouth, blood, and stool during periodic visits over 3–4 years.
