Over my 20+ years in the life sciences industry—and particularly in patient recruitment—I’ve consistently heard the same challenge from sponsors: sites are overwhelmed with referrals that don’t meet key eligibility criteria. Every unqualified referral requires valuable staff time to review, follow up with, and ultimately decline, creating unnecessary burden and slowing enrollment. It’s a virtuous cycle: when sponsors provide sites with higher-quality, pre-qualified referrals, site burden decreases, site engagement improves, and participation in future studies becomes stronger.

We recently launched powerful automation and outreach features in our patient recruitment management platform. With Smart Automations, study teams can now trigger email notifications before, after, or immediately following predefined events, with the ability to localize content by selecting specific country and language variants so patients receive messages in their preferred tongue. In addition, the updated outreach workflow provides study teams with configurable and flexible email templates. Researchers can easily build templates from scratch or modify existing default templates as a base to create user-specific versions tailored to their individual workflows.


At this year’s Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) conference, our team had an incredible time showcasing how our Space Health Platform powers TRISH HERMES and redefines care beyond Earth. Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 Gene Therapy Trial: Researchers are investigating a gene therapy for adults with Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 (DM1). Participants receive a one-time infusion and are monitored over time to evaluate the treatment’s safety and its potential to improve muscle function.
BEETHOVEN C. difficile Vaccine Trial: Researchers are testing an investigational vaccine designed to help prevent C. difficile infection in adults aged 65 and older who are at increased risk.
