What’s New at TrialX! 🚀

Congratulations to the Reflections Collective Team! They won the Fierce DEI Awards in the Community Engagement and Outreach category, announced at the Patients as Partners Europe conference in London this month. True to its name, the Reflections Collective is creating space for everyone to be seen, heard, and “bereflected” in clinical research. We’re proud to support this purpose-driven initiative with our AI-powered Clinical Trial Finder – amplifying underrepresented voices and advancing equity in research through art, storytelling, and technology. Our team had an incredible experience at the launch event last year in Downtown Atlanta, connecting with attendees and helping them explore trial opportunities. 📢 PRODUCT UPDATES

Language should not be a barrier to finding the right clinical trial. At TrialX, we’re making research more inclusive by empowering study teams to connect with participants in up to 10 different languages—bringing clinical trials closer to the communities that need them most. More languages supported means more access. More access means better outreach. Learn how we’re breaking down barriers to boost trial awareness and participation

RECENT CURETALKS

We had the privilege of talking to Nobel Laureate Dr. Drew Weissman from The University of Pennsylvania, about the expanding potential of mRNA technology. In this insightful conversation, Dr. Weissman shares how the mRNA platform is being explored to treat celiac disease, cancer, HIV, autoimmune disorders, and neurological and cardiovascular conditions—unlocking a future where medicine is more targeted, responsive, and effective. Watch here.

🧬 FEATURED CLINICAL STUDIES

Powered by TrialX

Cardiokidney Metabolic Syndrome (CKM) is a newly recognized condition by the American Heart Association. It occurs when someone is overweight and has additional risk factors such as high triglycerides, high blood pressure, diabetes, or chronic kidney disease. Researchers at Indiana University are studying how to encourage exercise in people with CKM, as regular physical activity may help reverse the condition. The goal is to design effective exercise programs for those affected.

Pursuing Optimal Organisms in People with Stones (POOPS)The incidence of kidney stone disease, especially among children, has risen rapidly. The goal of this study is to determine how your diet, the antibiotics you take, and the bacteria that live in your gut (microbiome), contribute to developing kidney stones.

Does Social Media Impact Adolescent Mental Health? This study explores whether and how social media use affects the mental health of adolescents. Researchers are conducting the first field experiment with 10–14-year-olds who are getting their first smartphone, aiming to better understand potential impacts. Participants must speak English and have parental consent, and cannot have a history of serious mental health issues.

The PERSPECTIVE Study: Supported by the Michael J. Fox Foundation, this study tests a personalized speech therapy program for people with Parkinson’s, delivered at home via video sessions and a voice trainer app. It aims to improve everyday speech, communication, and quality of life, including for those in advanced stages of the disease.
