🤳 REMOTE DATA COLLECTION FOR A LEADING CLINICAL RESEARCH STUDY

Leveraging TrialX’s remote data collection solutions researchers at the University of Iowa have developed the SAYSTOP study app to explore a critical question: Is it safe for patients with urinary tract infections to stop antibiotics when they feel better, rather than completing the full course? This intuitive mobile app empowers participants to track and manage their antibiotic use seamlessly, providing valuable insights for the study. With antibiotic resistance posing a serious global health threat due to overuse and misuse, this research aims to inform safer, more effective antibiotic practices. Learn more.

🧬 FEATURED CLINICAL STUDIES

Powered by TrialX

Have Severe Alopecia Areata? If you are aged 18 years and older and have severe Alopecia Areata, you could contribute to this study investigating the effects of a medication given as a shot under the skin to treat this condition. Alopecia areata happens when the immune system attacks hair follicles, leading to hair loss.

Lend Your Ears (and Brains) For Hearing Research: Purdue University researchers aim to understand how our ears and brains help us perceive and communicate in complex environments, through this hearing research study. ANYONE who is 18 years of age or older, regardless of health condition, is invited to participate.

tACS Language: Researchers at Penn Medicine are investigating whether a form of noninvasive brain stimulation, called transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), will improve a person’s ability to name objects more than fake tACS. TACS is a technique by which small electric currents are applied to the scalp. This creates coordinated brain activity across the brain.

Electrical Stimulation for the Treatment of Optic Neuropathies: Researchers at Stanford University are investigating the safety and effectiveness of long-term electrical stimulation using a home-stimulation device for treating open-angle glaucoma. This study aims to understand whether electrical stimulation can slow optic nerve degeneration and improve outcomes for individuals with clinically stable glaucoma.
