Phendo - A ResearchKit App to Track and Understand Endometriosis
Applied Informatics recently developed a research study app called Phendo for Columbia University’s Citizen Endo project. The app is built using Apple’s ResearchKit platform.
Phendo bridges the gap between patient experience of endometriosis and clinical understanding of the disease. The app has a participatory design that patients can interact with. They can self-track using both moment and day level surveys to document living with endometriosis.
