We announced the release of the SAYSTOP Study App for a leading clinical research study investigating antibiotics resistance using TrialX’s remote data collection platform. Our Co-founder & CEO, Dr. Sharib Khan, attended the NASA IWS 2024 workshop, joining the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) and other leading space medicine scientists. At the workshop, there was significant interest in our work on the EXPAND database, developed in collaboration with TRISH. Steve Robinson, former NASA astronaut, remarked, “What you guys are doing, all of us want!”. The EXPAND DB is the first human health & environmental database for commercial space flights, designed to support a variety of data types across a multitude of individual research studies.
🎓 MILESTONE ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Axiom Mission 4 will launch in early spring in 2025 and last up to 14 days! In partnership with TRISH (The Translational Research Institute for Space Health) we are excited to support yet another space mission through the EXPAND App that collects and stores pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight health data from commercial astronauts during space missions. TRISH will conduct a suite of human health and performance research projects during this misson that includes crew members from India, Poland, and Hungary, marking each nation’s first mission to the international space station in history. In collaboration with the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH), we are proud to be one of the partners in the Polaris Dawn Mission – a commercial spaceflight endeavor. Our team played a pivotal role in developing the EXPAND app which ensured seamless pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight health research data collection, management and analysis. This milestone mission pushed the boundaries of space exploration with the first-ever private spacewalk and reach the highest altitude since Apollo 17. We supported this bold mission, taking decentralized clinical research data collection to the extreme edge where no humans have gone in the last 50 years.
