Our team developed the EXPAND app to ensure seamless pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight health research data collection. This historic mission featured the first-ever private spacewalk and reached the highest altitude since Apollo 17. TrialX powers the The Sickle Cell Disease Association of America’s Clinical Trial Finder – a centralized, simple-to-navigate resource that helps people with sickle cell disease and their families find clinical trials. Patients and caregivers can use the tool to search for trials by keyword, location, study type and phase – all listed in one place. Sickle cell disease is an inherited blood disorder where red blood cells become sickle-shaped, making it hard for them to pass through small blood vessels, leading to tissue damage and complications. We are proud to support clinical trials for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. The myRett Trial Finder, powered by TrialX, offers a clear and easy-to-use platform to find information on Rett syndrome clinical trials. This tool will be continuously updated with new studies as they open for volunteer recruitment. Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder, primarily affecting 1 in 10,000 females (and even more rarely in males), leading to severe challenges in essential aspects of life, including speech, mobility, and eating. 📝 HEALTH DATA REGULATIONS
The “Washington My Health My Data Act” (Substitute House Bill 1155) is an act that establishes strict regulations on the collection, sharing, and selling of consumer health data in Washington. Participants Needed for Dairy Study: Researchers at Indiana University are doing a study to learn more about the impact of dairy (milk products) on health. Adults, 18-74 years of age, who do not have a severe allergy or intolerance to dairy can participate.
Mapping Muscle Specific Metabolism in Different Age Groups: The purpose of the study is to determine the changes in muscle metabolites by MRI before and after exercise. The MRI will be performed while performing mild exercise of the calf muscle for 1-3 minutes. The study is actively recruiting adults between 18-30, 45-55 and 70-80 years.
Black and African American Connections to Parkinson’s Disease (BLAAC PD): This program seeks to expand understanding of Parkinson’s disease within the Black and African American community and contribute to a more holistic, global understanding of the disease.
Parenting Stress mHealth: Parenting stress is a well-documented barrier to youth engagement in community-based substance use treatment. The current project aims to develop and evaluate a mobile health parenting stress intervention for caregivers of justice-involved youth, a population with high rates of substance use and low rates of treatment engagement.
