Epilepsy, a neurological disease affecting 1 in 26 people in the U.S. is defined by having multiple, ongoing seizures. Simply knowing when a seizure is coming, may in itself, improve health-related quality of life. We are excited to collaborate with Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine to build an epileptic seizure tracker mobile application. The app is expected to help patients track their symptoms before they are likely to experience a seizure and after having a seizure. Learn more.
HEALTH DATA REGULATIONS
The “Washington My Health My Data Act” (Substitute House Bill 1155) is an act that establishes strict regulations on the collection, sharing, and selling of consumer health data in Washington. The act aims to “close the gap” between current practices and consumers’ understanding of how their health data is collected, stored and utilized. Adults Ages 18-45 Needed for Social Decision-Making Study: Do people think of you as eccentric? Do you have special abilities such as receiving special messages, or hearing things other people do not? Do you feel as if mind-reading or telepathy are real? If any of the above statements sometimes describe you, you may be eligible for this study.
Effect of study drug in asthma: The purpose of this study is to learn if the study drug (Dupixent® Dupilumab) helps to control asthma. The study team is particularly interested in understanding if people who have a certain genetic make-up will respond better to this treatment.
