TrialX Updates: Driving Diversity in Clinical Trials Through AI-powered Clinical Trial Finders, DCTs Taken to the Extreme & More…

We are honored to have been chosen to power the clinical trial finder for the landmark Reflections initiative which aims to enhance diversity in clinical trials and increase clinical trials awareness at the grass roots level through artistic expression—just in time for a season of transformation! 🎃 We had an incredible time at the #ReflectionsAtlanta event on October 13th, 2024 in Downtown Atlanta where our team worked closely with potential participants to help navigate clinical trials using our trial finder and advanced AI tools that simplify clinical trial information. This initiative drives visitors to the website BeReflected.org, where they can explore multiple resources to support their journey to trial participation. Read more.

🧑‍🚀️ DCTs TAKEN TO THE EXTREME!

Proud of our team! In the spirit of Halloween, we ventured into the unknown with a two-hour demo for NASA and the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) as part of a NASA-funded project, showcasing how our platform can support decentralized research—even in the deep void of space! 🛸This is decentralized clinical trials (DCT) taken to the extreme: completely off the grid, with no research coordinators or site support staff —🧟a real-life science thriller!  Selected by TRISH for a groundbreaking collaboration, TrialX is helping develop systems to enhance healthcare and data management for spaceflight participants and researchers. Learn more.

We’re removing the mystery 🗿 from clinical trials! With recent enhancements to our patient recruitment management system, study teams can now activate AI-powered clinical trial simplification tools on trial information pages for specific countries or languages. This means patients can toggle between the original and simplified trial details, helping them easily unmask 🎭complex information 🕸 and understand each trial better. No tricks again — just treats 🍨 for improved accessibility!

RECENT CURETALKS

Listen to Dr. Courtney Schreiber of Penn Medicine discuss management of Rh sensitization in pregnancy & talk about her research which has the potential to change pregnancy care guidelines & bridge global health equity gaps. The presence or absence of the Rh antigen on human red blood cells determines if a person’s blood type is “positive” or “negative.” When an Rh-negative individual, who lacks this antigen, becomes pregnant and carries an Rh-positive fetus, the mother’s immune system may recognize the fetus’s Rh antigen as foreign and mount an immune response. This phenomenon is known as Rh sensitization. Watch here.
