TrialX Expands Global Impact with Inclusive Clinical Trial Outreach, AI-Assisted Patient Recruitment Tools & Study App Milestone

This Halloween, we made sure language barriers don’t haunt clinical research. đź‘» We’re proud to facilitate more inclusive clinical trials by helping top sponsors and study teams communicate with participants in multiple languages—equipping them with the tools to reach the right participants, in the right language, across local to global studies. Learn how we’re breaking down barriers to boost trial awareness and participation.

What’s New at TrialX! 🚀

❇️ PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

The SAYSTOP Study App, developed by TrialX in collaboration with investigators at the University of Iowa, has successfully completed enrollment. The Study of Antibiotics You Stop for Treatment Of Pyelonephritis (SAYSTOP) is exploring whether it is safe for patients with urinary tract infections to stop antibiotics when they start feeling better, rather than completing the full course. Built using our remote data collection solution, the app enables participants to easily track their antibiotic use throughout the study. We are honored that the investigators and study team felt supported throughout the process, sharing: “Given the limited budget, TrialX team was incredibly patient, responsive, and committed to helping us achieve our goals. They consistently worked with us to accommodate our requests and adjustments, and we appreciate their flexibility and dedication throughout the process.” We are proud to support this innovative research that addresses the urgent global challenge of antibiotic resistance.

We are honored to support ALK+ Positive – a patient-driven organization seeking cure for ALK+ lung cancer – with our AI-based Global Clinical Trial Finder. Patients and caregivers can answer guided questions to receive personalized trial matches based on their location and health history, or search independently using filters like keyword, trial type, and geography. With clear trial summaries, quick eligibility checks, and simple ways to connect with study teams, the tool helps patients access research opportunities faster. Learn more.

We are excited to support University of Iowa in developing the Map-Stroke app – a unique point-of-care decision support mobile application that can be used by paramedics to determine the severity of stroke and get recommendations on the most appropriate nearby treatment facility for best medical care of the patient. The app, which aims to improve neurological outcomes, will be a part of the larger Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) study and is set to begin a pilot soon. AIS remains a leading cause of long-term disability in the United States. Learn more.

Space missions demand health monitoring in environments with limited connectivity and extreme conditions—where traditional tools often fall short. TrialX Space Health Systems is an offline-capable, AI-powered platform that collects and analyzes diverse datasets, from wearables to genomics, even beyond Earth’s grid. Remote health research is possible, wherever the mission goes. Learn More.

In this Q&A with Andrew Garvey of GSK, our Executive Chairman, Eric Sandor shares our upcoming innovations in AI-powered patient recruitment solutions, reaffirming our commitment to advancing patient-centric clinical trials and ensuring accuracy and inclusivity in AI-driven recruitment. Watch the full panel discussion to learn more.

🧬 FEATURED CLINICAL STUDIES

Powered by TrialX

The Indiana Biobank Study: Indiana University researchers are collecting blood samples from IU Health patients to study how genes affect diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Each sample is securely stored and anonymized, helping scientists develop more personalized treatments and prevention strategies.

The RSVP Study: Researchers at Penn Medicine are studying how young people (ages 16–35) process rewards and information to better understand who may be at risk for psychosis. Participants complete interviews, cognitive tests, and brain scans (MRI) to help identify early signs of mental health changes and find ways to prevent serious illness.

The Speech Accessibility Project: Supported by The Michael J. Fox Foundation, this online study collects speech samples from people with Parkinson’s to help improve voice-recognition technology. Participants (18+, U.S.-based) record short phrases from home, helping companies like Apple and Google make speech-enabled devices more accessible.

Brain Stimulation for Depression: Researchers are testing a non-invasive brain stimulation device that uses mild electrical currents to reduce symptoms of major depressive disorder. About 40 participants will receive stimulation over five days to evaluate its safety and potential benefits for improving mood.
