This year, the DIA is themed “ Driving Insights into Action” and will be bustling with the energy and enthusiasm around the developments in lifesaving medicine and technologies. With more than 160 sessions planned with distinguished speakers across the globe, DIA2017 will cover 11 different topics such as bigdata/ehealth, disruptive innovation, patient engagement, medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, strategic planning and regulatory, including at least 3 diamond sessions everyday from June 19 – June 22.
We look forward to the discussions on the use of mobile health and social media in increasing participatory research, improving patient retention and improving clinical trials success rates.
Various representatives from Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Medicines Agency (EMA), International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA), Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and other regulatory authorities will talk about the regulatory issues to be aware of, in order to authorize and market your products across the world.
The keynote speaker this year is Alexander Tsiaras who believes “It is stories that give a soul to our data”. Alexander Tsiaras will talk about how interactive storytelling and personal health data may drives patient empowerment and engagement.
