My mother who had very high blodd sugar levels both fasting and post prandil was adviced “Volibo” twice daily, and reported severe abdominal gastritis and now has reddish and paniful swelling of her both feet extending upto knees. She discontinued the medicine one week back and even now has the other effects as indicated here. What are the medicines to reverse the effect or mere discontinuance will help overcome the problem.
if the sugar levels are controlled by metformin alone , and the patients creatinine levels are high thus renal impair, could we prescribe VOGLIBOSE to such patients ,since few doctors say its dose is very small i.e. 0.2mg ,compared to 1 gm metformin.
so as to safe kidney with lower quantity of drug metabolism.
I my earlier prescription was Validagliptin 50/ Metformin 1000
