Updated 2013 edition, New Multiple Myeloma Therapies from a Patient’s Perspective, available NOW!

My updated 2013 edition of New Multiple Myeloma Therapies from a Patient’s Perspective has just been published.  When I wrote the book less than a year ago, I knew things were changing quickly in myeloma research–and I knew that I would need to update the book periodically.  But who knew new drugs like ARRY-520 and daratumumab would vault from virtual obscurity to the chapter on “Innovative New and Promising Myeloma Therapies” in a short ten months?

NEW THERAPIES COVERI didn’t make a few minor changes.  My third book has been reworked from front to back.  It was a lot of work, but what a nice problem!  The FDA approves Kyprolis and Pomalyst, Millennium and Onyx named and fast tracked their innovative oral proteasome inhibitors and immunotherapies made headlines.

If you purchased the first edition, I would love for you to upgrade to the second.  Simply send $12 to:

I rushed the original edition to print because I wanted to get it out and in the hands of patients that don’t like to rely on the internet for their information.  The updated version is new, improved and current; as in news from June’s ASCO and a pair of other international myeloma conferences even made the cut.

We haven’t even had a chance to change the way the updated version is displayed in My Cancer Store.  But no worries.  The first edition completely sold-out, so there won’t be any confusion.  You’re guaranteed to get the updated 2013 edition.

I’m not always comfortable pushing my books.  But I’m more than happy to make an exception in this case.  I hope using the book as a reference will help you as much as it’s helped me!  Re-writing it was a positive, uplifting experience; there is so much hope in the world of myeloma research these days.

Feel good and keep smiling!  Pat
