The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) is working with a group of support group leaders from across the country here at ASH–and I’m one of them! Our mission is to use social media, blogging and video blogging to help communicate with other myeloma patients and caregivers. The hope is that sharing what we learn from a patient’s perspective will help reach others like us worldwide.
I’m working with some amazing support group leaders here. They understand how important it is to get up-to-date information out to their group members. But in this case, our “group” is the worldwide myeloma community! An ambitious goal, to be sure!
If you go to the IMF’s website and hover your cursor over the blog tab at the top of their homepage on the far right hand side, you can click-on the second drop down category, IMF at ASH 2012. There you can follow a number of ASH blogs–including mine.
