I think one of the best parts of the program is that some of the most prolific and informed bloggers (Pat Killingsworth, Nick Van Dyk, Lori Puente, Karen Crowley, and Gary Petersen, who all are multiple myeloma patients or caregivers, were asked to participate by asking questions of Dr. Vij.

I participated in an hour long panel discussion yesterday, featuring Dr. Ravi Vij, a myeloma and transplant expert from Washington University in St. Louis, along with a half dozen other patients and caregivers.

Sponsored by TrialX, this Multiple Myeloma Cure Panel broadcast was the first of what I hope to be many teleconference style discussions about topics which concern multiple myeloma patients and caregivers.

the discussion was earlier today. It was a one-hour conference-call-type thing featuring a myeloma specialist named Dr. Ravi Vij of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. A group of bloggers on the panel took turns asking questions. I was told there were 25 other people (all myeloma patients, I think) listening in.
