The Higgs Boson Or The God Particle Discovered!
I couldn’t end the week without mentioning the biggest scientific discovery of our lifetimes – yes I am talking about, The Higgs Boson. Physicists all over the world rejoiced and drank champagne to celebrate the discovery of the elusive subatomic particle – Higgs Boson or God particle, which is believed, would unravel the mysteries of the origin of the universe including the origin of life on earth.
Now all said and done, I cannot pretend that I understand very well, what the Higgs Boson is or why we are supposed to get excited about it. All I could make out was that we have discovered a subatomic particle that could be the reason why anything (read matter) would have mass at all.
