What is Plaque Psoriasis?
Plaque Psoriasis is a result of a series of events which lead to inflammation and acceleration of skin cell growth. Instead of falling off, the cells pile up on the surface of the skin, forming psoriatic plaques. The exact cause of psoriasis is unknown. However, it is understood that the immune system, environmental factors, and family history can play a role.
How is Psoriasis diagnosed?
A doctor usually diagnoses psoriasis by visually examining the skin and taking a thorough patient history. In some cases, the doctor may take a small sample of skin and send it to a lab analysis.
Is there a cure for Psoriasis?
Currently, there is no cure for psoriasis. However, there are certain medications to help treat psoriasis. Treatments may include medications applied to the skin, ultraviolet light therapy, medications taken by mouth, or those given by injection or infusion.
What is the purpose of this study?
The purpose of this study is to examine the efficacy, safety and tolerability of VB-201 as compared with placebo on measures of disease activity in patients with psoriasis.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Active Plaque Psoriasis, Psoriasis

Age: Between 18 – 75 Years
